Improvisation Meeting
Workshop: Dotolim free improvisation meeting ‘Special’ @ Coreana Museum of Art
Dotolim × *c-lab 9.0
Saturday, December 13, 2025

Program Introduction
As part of *c-lab 9.0 《Museum/Laboratory》, The Coreana Museum of Art invites Dotolim–a platform known for its experimental music performances–to host an improvisation session. This collaboration celebrates our shared commitment to experimentation and creative exploration.
Over the past nine years, Coreana Museum of Art’s *c-lab has partnered with artists across disciplines to present innovative and evolving practices. Some collaborations build on familiar ground, while others open entirely new artistic possibilities. Through these experiences, *c-lab has developed a curiosity for diverse approaches and a willingness to embrace difference.
*c-lab 9.0 《Museum/Laboratory》 continues this exploration by reimagining the museum as an open, experimental space. In this program, participants will engage in collaborative improvisation, creating and responding to sound in real time. The museum becomes a communal laboratory, where ideas and interactions unfold through listening, experimentation, and shared experience.
This program is open to all, regardless of age or background. Artists and participants from any discipline, including music, dance, poetry, drawing, photography, film, and visual arts, are welcome. Whether performing or observing, participants are invited to listen, respond, and connect, becoming part of this unique experiment in creativity and collaboration.

*c-lab: Coreana Museum of Art’s *c-lab selects a theme each year that reflects the contemporary moment and engages in collective inquiry with artists and practitioners through dynamic, non-static practices. In 2025, under the theme Museum/Laboratory, *c-lab 9.0 explores the intersections between museums and laboratories as spaces where knowledge, experience, and experimentation come together.
